Lost In Pronounciation?




Most of us (maybe i should say all of us) have experienced at least an embarrassing moment in the past where we have pronounced a foreign designer brand name absurdly to a sales assistant or other fashionably educated individual and been gently admonished. Believe me, it is not your fault. We spelt it out the tricky brand names to halt embarrassing mispronounciations. Say it out, say it loud!

  • Chanel 2.55 : Sha-nel two fifty five ( NOT two point five five, don't say it in mathematic way )

  • Dolce & Gabbana : DOL-chay and Gab-Bah-nah
  • Dormeuil : Dor-meh-ee
  • Ermenegildo Zegna : Err-men-eh-jill-doh Zen-yer
  • Gianfranco Ferre : Jee-an-fran-ko Ferr-ay
  • Gianni Versace : Janni Vir-Saa-Che
  • Giorgio Armani : Jor-jio Ar-ma-nee
